in our house we have blue, light yellow, dark red carpets and in my room there is a light red one.

Well luckily I don't see lost of (or at all) racism lately here... But I really hate resist ppl, it is not correct to "hate" ot dislike somebody for being a bit different that u/us, it is totally wrong ideology! Plus, I love even to see black ppl ;) Specially boys, but even girls r soooo good looking ;) B)
U prefer to marry in ur own country or in some other, such if u could choose?

I would like to marry on an Island as Mauritius but it would be hard to take all my&his family and friends there, its even hard to take them to Turkey because my family&friends are spread all over Europe. Mauritius would be nice but to make it more realistic I want to marry in Turkey
What traditions do you have for a wedding in your country?

Well in my country its something old something new something borrowed something blue... For the bride i think you all understand this.
The bride and groom are not allowed see each other the night before the wedding.
Whoever catches the boquet will be next wed.
The flower girl gives the bride a horse shoe for good luck.
The traditions in Turkey are much better.
Do you think it is good to tell children about Santa or are we just filling childrens minds with delusion?

Well I think saying about SAnta is part of each child life, as our was... It can't hurt them, It can only make them as in cartoon, coz they look on TV also about it... But as we all, when we got older or somebody with time told us that or... We und alone, not kids anymore... At least till now all ppl enjoyed in stories about Santa, sure not to overcome with it... ;)

Yeh i believe any special occasions like christmas, bayram and weddings bring everyone close together and a lot of people reunite after fighting.

We don't really have any just that a dark male member of family brings coal into the house.. This brings good luck.
Oh and in Turkey they believe you should have red knickers when it turns midnight or something like that i read it on the internet my hubby had never heard of it.

We eat ham or turkey and vegetable casseroles either with carrots, potatoes or turnip (??). Also a lot of fish, like salmon or herring. Deserts with plums and quark. Lots of ginger cookies and glögi (warm red spicy juice).
When do you give presents at Christmas? Which day and time?

Best christmas present was last yr i got a lovely gold chain with my name on it from my husband which he got specially made i treasure it and wear it almost every day.
Worst christmas present one of them bath sets i never used probably.
What's your favourite christmas movie?
