Synopsis
17-year-old Meryem is found desolated and unconscious by a lake. Her family who lives in a village in the east of Turkey, thinks that she has willingly had her chastity corrupted, and decides on killing her by the necessity of customs. I personally loved this movie, must the be the second best Turkish movie after Babam ve oglum. A story about the differencies in the eastern and western Turkey. How woman's role can be so different in these different parts of the same country! 5 starts!
